The tundra north of Kiruna holds some of the best and most remote waters Sweden can offer. We reach our destination with helicopter and from our base camp we can go to several different fishing waters. In this area we will be fishing for Grayling, Trouts and Arctic Char and we aim for fish in trophy sizes – 50 centimeter and over one kilo.
The weather can be tough, and the fishing can be really tricky and difficult. But we know the places to go. Depending on where we go we will be staying in cabin or tent. We usually bring a boat that we can use to make quicker transportations if we stay near a lake. Nice food with local touch will be served and if the weather is right the fishing can be amazing at this place.
The season is from last week in june until the end of august.
I take only two or three guests on this trip and I will be your guide and fishing buddy for six days. We usually arrive by plane In Kiruna on a Sunday and use that day for packing and picking up groceries. On Monday morning we fly out with helicopter and then we will be out on the tundra until the middle of the day on Saturday. It’s a total of six days out in the wilderness.
The price depends on the trip and it includes lodging in cabin or tent, helicopter flight, all meals and me as your personal guide and fishing friend for six days.
Special equipment might be necessary to get the most out of this trip and I will provide an equipment list and help you prepare your self in the best way before this trip.
The flight up to Kiruna is not included in the price. It´s also possible to go there by train or by car.
